Cowardy cowardy custard

I'm such a coward. I decided to crochet some shopping bags. What could be easier than designing my own. Gauge isn't too important, mistakes don't matter. Just two oblongs would have been fine if I didn't want to try making something like a large hat. But no, I searched for patterns and chose this one.
