Olivia's Jacket

I have finally finished Olivia's jacket. I will give to her on Friday, when the family come to stay for a few days. It will be too big for her (hopefully) and will last her for a bit. Machine washable wool!

Why hello there.

Hello, little blog. I haven't forgotten you. Only you were meant to be a showcase for stuff I created myself, and I haven't created anything new. I have almost finished a jacket for grand-daughter, Olivia, but it was a bought pattern. I'll put it up here when I've finished.
My next project is from a bought pattern too. It is a pair of adorable little bootees for my niece's baby, and involved a stitch I didn't know about. Crocodile stitch. Here is the pattern.

Finito

Two slouchies finished and winging their way to Scotland this very moment. Lorraine doesn't know they're coming. Her hat is on the loose side, so I made Matthew's slightly smaller. Well, when I say 'slightly' I took 4" off the circumference. I only hope the little fella has a small head. We shall see!
Next project? Another jacket for my two year old grand-daughter. It's for Christmas, so maybe I will fit in another couple of smaller projects before then. Once more, we shall see!

Oh yes.

I've finished the Celtic football slouchy for my daughter's friend. Just about to start the little one for her recently adopted boy. This all started when I made one for daughter's son. This was an amalgamation of a few patterns I found on the internet.

Oh no.

Yet another new blog. I really am addicted. This one is going to be built up slowly, and consist of patterns I have designed. Mostly knitting and crochet, but I might add sewing projects too. Watch this space.
