Cowboy Scarf

Well, this is using up a spare ball of Sirdar Click DK. Just amending instructions as I go along, so don't take any notice yet.
This is knitted from bottom up until I run out of wool.

Size 4mm needles.Tension not too important. Sirdar says 22 st and 28 rows to 10cm.
CO3
Row 1. K1,P1,K1
Keep increasing 2 stitches in middle (K3 into the middle stitch) on every second row until you have 11 stitches.
Row 9 - change the pattern. We are going to have a 5 stitch moss stitch (same as seed stitch) border on each side. So first and last 5 stitches of every row are moss stitch. (Knit the pearls and pearl the knits)
The middle of the scarf is just plain stocking stitch. The increases are going to be next to the moss stitch pattern at each side. I'm using 'after-thought yarn-over as it's practically invisible  http://www.knittinghelp.com/video/play/afterthought-yarn-over-english
but use any increase method you like.

Now just carry on in the pattern.
My scarf was coming out a big long, so when I had 121 stitches I decided to increase on every row for 10 rows. (On last 5 rows I went back to Moss Stitch).
I found the top still curled a bit, and also it wasn't quite wide enough. I could have knotted it at the back, but instead, added a press stud. The quick increases at the top made the top curve a bit (photo to follow) and the press stud capitalised on this as if it was an intended design feature!
